Vintage Grand Bois Road Bike

Absolutely stunning five speed vintage road bike shot at the wonderful Grand Bois store in Kyoto earlier this month...

One of the great things about Grand Bois is that they still ride these bikes, they're not museum pieces, they're used regularly. The one was still sporting it's number from the recent Eroica race...

Wooden rims and Campagnolo rod shifters...

Follow Grand Bois via their Instagram and Twitter for more of this kind of thing.

The Fugeees' Grand Velo

A little backstory to this one. Last week whilst showing Adam around Kyoto we were smoking outside Cycle Garden when a very cool looking dude cycled past. He turned around, came up to us and asked, "do you know Fixed-in-Nara?"! It turned out that we follow each other on Instagram where he goes by the name The Fugeeees, he was riding his very, very cool Bridgestone Grand Velo which we had to get some photos of...

So many cool custom details...

Vintage Sugino cranks...

Doesn't really get much cooler than a Pizzicato Five spoke card...

A very cool bike owned by a very cool and friendly dude who you can follow via his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
