Sunday At The Track

A full house at Nara Keirin last Sunday for the second of a four day GIII meeting. A bit of a party atmosphere around the track with stalls selling food and keirin related merchandise...

Which Fixed-in-Nara couldn't resist...

Out on the track the pros were making things look easy, in no particular order here's a selection of the best shots from the day...

You can check out all the thrills and spills from the four days of action via the Nara Keirin YouTube channel. Cheers, as always to F-i-N.

MTB's @ KNSCX Kyoto

A couple of MTB's shot at last month's KNSCX in Kyoto, first up this lovely unidentified (though it was hanging around the Toyo tent) rigid single speed...

Just so nicely done, loving the red touches on the spokes, c'ring and stem...

Secondly this locally made Titania...

Looking even better caked in mud after the race...

Katsuo MTB @ Bicycle Maru

A few shots of a beautiful Cicli Katsuo MTB we shot at Bicycle Maru in Nara a couple of weeks ago...

The details are so subtle, check out that seat tube cluster...

Or those pineapple dropouts...

And the headtube lugs...

With the pineapple Katsuo head badge...

So nice. You can keep up with all the other superb builds that Bicycle Maru do by following their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Custom Surly @ 1Jyo Ultimate Factory Osaka

While out in Osaka last week we dropped into the wonderful 1Jyo Ultimate Factory where they had just built a very custom Surly Krampus...

Along with the custom paint job the bike had another rather special feature, an 11 speed Shimano Alfine Di2 drive...
