Ocean Cycle Factory, Ikoma

We took a climb up to the superb Ocean Cycle Factory in Ikoma last weekend...

OCF, Ikoma.
A brilliant shop that specialise in a range of custom builds and fixies. The store is full of eye candy, everywhere you look there is an interesting bike or frame in various stages of customisation...

Anchor Girl's Keirin bike.
Custom Roadie.
Toyo x OCF Iris frame.
OCF custom Cervelo.
Hanging from the ceiling are even more bikes, frames and wheels...

So much eye candy!
Vintage Extar Proton.
Araya.

This gorgeous fixie is an Extar Proton built specially for OCF...

And this stunning Toyo was gifted to OCF owner Yoh-san by his good friend the Japanese cyclocross racer Yu Takenouchi. (Who, coincidently, Brad met recently out on a Sunday ride)...

Toyo cross frame.
Just check the details on that cable routing...

The shop are also dealers for Strider. Not just dealers, they customise and race the little trainer bikes....

Strider.
Gold Strider.
There are so many options for customising the bikes...

Wheels.
Bars & grips.

Just check out the custom work done on the Yoh-san's daughter's bike...

A close up on that front drop out...

They take these little bikes quite seriously, so much so that they took first place in the team event at the 2013 Strider World Championships in Florida...

A busy workshop is always a sign of a good bike shop...

Workshop.
A truly wonderful shop doing some very interesting and innovative work. Owner Yoh-san is friendly and informative and speaks great English. A store well worth a visit by any cyclist. Keep up with the shop's work via their Facebook page. A big thank you to Yoh-san and his family for welcoming us into his brilliant shop.

Stay Puft man checking the wheel trueing!
