We caught the last couple of F1 races at Nara Keirin today. The skies were somewhat ominous before the start of the 10th race...
..But fortunately the race went by without a hitch...
Then, as we waited for the final race of the day the heavens opened and a Blade Runner style downpour drenched the track...
But these boys are tough, a little torrential rain is not gonna stop them racing...
Although it did make photography difficult for us. Here are the few decent(ish) shots we managed to get of the action...
Thankfully, no crashes, just one rider with what looked like a popped chain...
It seems like the rains have finally arrived here in Nara. A good time to clean our bikes in preparation for this Sunday's Panaracer Cup race.
