Cycle Mode Osaka 2013 - Track And Fixies

Ok, as promised, the track and fixed wheel bikes we snapped at Cycle Mode last weekend.
Boma were proudly showing off some of their dream machines, firstly a L'Eclat

And taking pride of place one of their Girl's Keirin bikes...

Cervelo too were showing off their seriously aero Track machines, the carbon T4 below for example...

...And the aluminium T1...

Over on the Pinarello stand their space age looking MAAT 60.1 certainly stood out from all the yellow they had going on with their other bikes...

But maybe the less said about their collaboration with clothing brand Diesel the better, I mean it is very rare that we would criticise any bike on this site...but this thing is just...well, just...erm...well to our eyes it is absolutely f*cking vulgar...

Moving on to something far more aesthetically pleasing, Gan Well too were showing off one of their Girl's Keirin bikes...

..And tucked away in a corner was one of their frames to demonstrate the colour and logo choices available...

On the other side of the Iwai Shokai Co stand were some very desirable HED wheels to go with the frame...

As for the fixies, the few that we saw were coming from the more affordable brands like Massi...

And Osso who had a super funky nightclub style stand showing off some of their budget bikes. We think that the guys at Leader Bike might want to have a word with them about this little number though..

Playing it a bit safer with the Rapid model...

Before we sign off, we want to say a huge thanks to the wonderful Tracko who posted a link to one of our earlier Girl's Keirin posts. If you are into your fixies that would be the site to follow. Up next time we have a special post featuring all of the seriously beautiful Panasonics we snapped at the show, a post that will fit our remit of being about bicycles from west Japan. Until then, here's a photo of some nice shiny brakes and levers to enjoy...
